Hi! I’m Dorla, a piano teacher from Costa Rica now living in Texas.

I’ve been teaching since 1985, and I love helping children discover their ability to make music.

In my studio, students learn in small groups where they can support one another, grow in confidence, and progress at a pace that feels natural.

I use materials I’ve created over the years to help children of different ages and skill levels learn side-by-side.

My goal is simple: to give every child a positive, encouraging place to learn piano and feel proud of what they can do.
